Come and take my hand dear
I will take you away
up to the exosphere
for a night and day

I will show you our world
like you’ve never seen before
to where falling stars swirl
with the music you adore

come take my hand dear
I will take you to space
if its flying that you fear
then make that hold an embrace

Space Groove Luvin

Back seat, that is where we are going
just you and your space-boy
let go of your space-toys for I’m taking you away

Breath in, let’s fog up this rocket-ship
hold on to the blast doors
I’ll do you on all fours, and make you scream my name

You can feel the engines tremble
You can feel the room shake
I can feel your lips tremble
I can feel your legs shake

Wake the wonders

This world is filled with poetry
swirling movements made of art
this world that boxes lazy dreams
deep inside our sleeping hearts

we’re meant to fly, yes you and me
but where to point? where to go?
which star to fly? which moon to land?
who to bring? with whom to grow?

questions…questions we failed to ask
our little selves when we were young
back then we knew the universe
its secrets written on our tongues

This world is filled with poetry
swirling movements made of art
let us unbox our lazy dreams
and wake the wonders in our hearts

I Own a Mind of Hues and Tones

Sometimes I feel like you forget
there’s more to me than skin and bones
I own a mind: a galaxy
of spinning, burning, hues and tones

With this I swim the deepest sea
With this I probe the farthest space
With this I cross life’s line and then
experience death with sensual grace

My mind, these thoughts: my rocket ship
with mileage ticking each light year
traversing black holes, comet trails
exploring novae without fear

This mind it taught me how to fly
it taught me how to break the wall
so that the saddest song may glow
and lift all stars before they fall

There’s more to me than skin and bones
I own a mind of hues and tones

The Artist’s Plea

The day that I find you, I’ll let you know.
Miss imagination, please be patient.
I have been searching for you, my whole life.
And I’m just waiting for the right moment.

The time will come when you will have to fill
my soul with stars and spinning galaxies,
with all that beauty you have to be fair
you cannot fit all those wonders in me.

But I’ll try my best
Miss creativity,
to grab what I can
with my capacity.

I will try my best
Miss creativity
I’m just waiting for
my muse to be with me.

I might dream about space travels and all,
but I’m still a man with a heavy heart.
I might wish to be lost and not look back
but we all know I’m lying from the start.

Rocket ships and robots and flowerpots,
this is how you talk to me, with your songs
filled of selfish desires to own my mind,
but what I’m telling you, the time is wrong.

But I’ll try my best
Miss creativity,
to grab what I can
with my capacity.

I will try my best
Miss creativity
I’m just waiting for
my muse to be with me.

Not god, just a spaceman.

The rocketman is listening to God is an Astronaut and he feels that this moment is very appropriate as his love for the universe grows on every pulsing second. He smoked a supernova to death and thought he owed it to the world to bring back the burning glow that his lungs and mind consumed.

He consumed a total of three galaxies worth of blackholes and supernovae.

That’s two and a half infinite words worth in poetry. He will try his best to write them all.

Something

There is something about space
that makes me feel insignificant

small

puny and useless

there is something about space
that leaves me breathless

there is something about space
that my ego doesn’t like
and I think its because space
is vast

huge

and way more stellar than my mind

there is something about space
and the thought bothers me
it keeps me up
stirs me from my sleep
there is something about space

it’s…

it’s just so frighteningly deep

there is something about space

something…

I am out of words
I am in awe
by its wonder
by its nature

there is something about space
and if you ask me
I think its because space is like a candle to a moth
to me
whose mind is a solitary creature

Up here, just you and me please.

“You Make Me High” by Jason Mraz

I don’t mind being sober with you around.

You’re giving me this natural high.

Heck, you’re rocket-blasting me straight to space.

Chasing stars

We’ll i dont know, i guess im out of words…

i’ve been lost for far too long…

i’ve seen enough

enough to stop believin,

ive chased stars to the end of the world

and it was cold and disappointing

the bittersweet

of an ending

~

and it never ends

oh you wont believe it

the thought will orbit out of reach

but you know its there

you can feel it

it will bother you

maybe for a while

but the beeping never ends

~

supernovas die, everyone runs out of fuel

but we do it for the chase anyway

~

sometimes the spectacle is just too overwhelming

sometimes disappointing as the cold

~

well i dont know, i guess im out of words

i’ve been lost for far too long…

and im out of rocket fuel.

but i know its never wrong.

…because im doing it for the chase anyway.

Lets blame it all to carousels and UFOs and those silly ferris wheels

we have always wanted to touch the skies

but we’ve been living on dreams and subtle lies

but now’s the chance so grab my hand, lets fly

~

its never too late to play pretend

its really quite easy just grab a friend

then both of you can fly to where you want

~

lets blame it all to carousels and UFOs and those silly ferris wheels,

they taught us to love the night sky and to wonder how it feels…

~

to view the stars not just behind our fingers…

~

we can always name our constellations

with hidden meanings and interpretations

and when they ask we can do that silly laugh

~

it might annoy them but then who cares

we’ve surfed on rings and solar flares

we saw the stars and not just behind our fingers

~

lets blame it all to carousels and UFOs and those silly ferris wheels…

they taught us to love the night sky and to wonder how it feels…

~

to make dust angels and dance on Luna’s face…

~

this attraction, this gravity

this revolution of you and me

darling please i hope that you can see

~

its never too late to fly the distance

the solar winds give no resistance

lets visit moon so we can do that dance…

~

lets blame it all to carousels and UFOs and those silly ferris wheels,

they taught us to love the night sky and to wonder how it feels…
